Support a Mother and Her Two Young Orphans

Our team recently visited the home of a widow, Duaa F. A., who lives with her two children, aged 1 and 4. They live in a small rented house for which they pay 250,000 IQD (approx. £120) monthly.  The house lacks the most basic necessities. With no steady income and only occasional small donations, Duaa struggles to provide food, clothing, and essential care for her little ones.

Family Background

• Duaa’s husband tragically died in a traffic accident, leaving her solely responsible for their two orphans.
• The children are at critical developmental ages but lack adequate nourishment, warm clothing, and learning materials.
• Duaa has no salary or reliable income stream beyond sporadic benefactor support.

Immediate Needs

To stabilize their situation and give these children a chance of a healthy, secure childhood, the family urgently requires:

• Monthly Orphan Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per child (x2), per month (total 100,000 IQD – Approx. £60 monthly)
• Monthly Living Support: 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) per month to keep a roof over their heads
• A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a washing machine and improve hygiene
