Annual Campaign to Provide School Clothing for Orphans – 2025–2026

With the dawn of a new school year, doors of hope open for small hearts eager to sit at a school desk. 

Sadly, there are those standing behind the glass, merely watching.

An orphaned child and another from a struggling family await a helping hand to alleviate their needs and grant them a dignified start in life.

Al-Shakiry Charity, Sadr City Branch has launched its Back to School Campaign, a heartfelt initiative to build bridges toward a future shaped by education.

For just 50,000 IQD (approx. £30), we aim to provide each orphaned child with the essentials they need to start the school year with dignity and hope: clothing, a backpack, shoes, and stationery.

Let us not allow poverty to steal a child’s simple dream.

Be the reason they smile on the first day of school.

Let’s begin together the story of hope for these children by standing with them, offering support, and carrying this collective responsibility with kindness.
