Destitute family urgently appeals for support to overcome hardship

As part of the regular follow-up visits to poor families registered with our Branches, staff from Najaf Branch visited Mrs Suad and her family.

Mrs Suad’s husband died of heart failure, leaving her responsible for the care of her orphans.

The family lives in a house lacking the most basic facilities.  They receive no income other than the help they receive from good-hearted people.

This family needs:

- Ongoing monthly sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan per month.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £170) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 195,000 IQD (approx. £132) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £70) to buy mattresses and covers.

The branch staff appeal to charitable people not to hesitate in helping this lady and her orphans.
