Widow living alone, suffering from poverty and illness

Staff from Basra Branch visited the widow Khansaa A. S.  She lives alone in a dilapidated house, which was built without planning permission and lacks the most basic household amenities, which she cannot afford to buy, due to her poor financial situation.

Khansaa has no source of income other than the minimal assistance she receives from benefactors.

Following the death of her husband, she continued to live on her own.  In addition to life’s troubles, she suffers from ongoing health issues – diabetes and high blood pressure.  She requires medical reviews as well as treatment, and in general, she needs a helping hand.

To help this widow, she needs:

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy household necessities.

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy food supplies.

We hope that compassionate and charitable people will lend a helping hand to this widow so that she can overcome her suffering.
