Impoverished Family needs assistance

Al Shakiry Charity for Social Welfare/Najaf Branch visited the family of a poor lady, Atheera N.D.  The family consists of four members living together in a dilapidated house, lacking the most basic necessities, which they cannot afford, due to their poor financial conditions. There were three children in this family, two of whom are disabled, and one passed away due to their inability to afford treatment.

The family has no source of income and is reliant on the financial assistance they receive from charitable individuals.

The father works as a labourer.  His salary is not enough to provide for the basic living needs of the family.  His wife also has to work to help support the needs of the family.  She makes prayer mats, which she sells in a nearby market. Out of desperation, the poor woman appealed through Al- Shakiry Charity for assistance.

To help this family, they need:

- A Donation of 300,000 IQD (approx. £180) to purchase a refrigerator.

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. 90) to buy an air cooler.

- A Donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy school supplies.

We hope that kind-hearted individuals will provide them with the help they need.
