The distributions took place on the following dates: 10, 11 and12 /10/2007 and by establishing four events. 150 gifts were distributed to 150 orphans in each event. Moreover, the local media sources and others were there to report the events.
What is worth telling is that about 17 thousand refugee families from hot spots have taken refuge in Kerbala. These refugees include thousands of orphans.
The Iraqi Charities Forum will distribute another 400 gifts for 400 orphans in the coming days in Baghdad and is organizing with the charity organizations there.
It was supposed that all the gifts would be distributed during the happy Fitr Eid, but the contributions have arrived late and are continuing to come to the Forum. These contributions have reached till now $38 000 (thirty thousand American dollars).
