It is with deep sorrow that we honour the life and legacy of Mr Abdul Sahib Shakiry, whose passing today marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in the history of Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity.

For over two decades, Mr Shakiry (Founder and Chair) led our Charity with compassion, integrity, and unwavering dedication. Alongside Mr Al-Sharifi, (Co-Founder and Vice Chair), he championed the rights and dignity of those most in need—widows, orphans, and families facing illness, poverty, and homelessness. His generosity was not only material but deeply personal, rooted in a profound love for humanity.

Even as his health declined, Mr Shakiry remained a guiding presence—offering wisdom, oversight, and encouragement from afar. Every decision bore his thoughtful imprint, and every milestone reflected his enduring commitment to justice and mercy.

We will remember and reflect on the life of a remarkable man whose legacy endures in every life he touched. We invite you to stand with us as we carry forward the mission he so passionately embraced.
