Mother appeals for help to support her six orphans

Staff from Najaf Branch visited the family of Sahar. A.A. They found that Sahar continues to suffer as a result of her family’s difficult living conditions.

Following the death of her husband, Sahar became solely responsible for the care of her six orphans.  Some of the children still attend school. The family lives in a house Sahar inherited.  It lacks many basic facilities which she cannot afford to buy due to her complete destitution.

This family has no source of income except a small pension of 200,000 IQD (approx. £140) which Sahar receives monthly.  They rely on support from kind benefactors.  Sadly, this is insufficient to meet the family’s most basic living requirements.

This family desperately needs:

- Ongoing monthly orphan sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £18) per orphan (x6) per month.

- A donation of 195.000 IQD (approx. £135) to buy a cooker.

- A donation of 250.000 IQD (approx. £170) to buy a refrigerator.

- A donation of 50.000 IQD (approx. £35) towards a food basket.

Staff from the branch appeal to good-hearted people to support this widow and her six orphans.
