Poor Family Struggling with Hardship and Illness

Mrs Hawraa M.K., a poor woman, is the sole supporter of her family.  The family consists of her ailing husband and her two daughters, one a university student and the other a secondary school scholar.  Out of desperation and need, she sought help from Sadr City Branch.

This family had been living peacefully in an Arab country, but fate dealt them a cruel blow when her husband contracted Crohn’s, a rare and difficult-to-treat disease. Hawraa’s husband was no longer able to work.  The cost of his treatment depleted the family’s entire financial resources.  They were compelled to return to their homeland in the hope of finding assistance.

Hawaa has been working tirelessly to find a source of income to support her family. Currently, they reside in rented accommodation, made possible through the help they receive from charitable individuals.

Despite the hardship, she insists her two daughters continue their education. Her courage is unwavering, but she cannot do it alone.

This resilient mother is working tirelessly to support her family. She’s seeking employment at a women’s beauty salon and striving to set up a home-based business.  She urgently needs an interest-free loan and/or donations towards the cost of 700,000 IQD (approx. £420) to purchase the basic equipment.

Your support could be the turning point for this family.

Please consider helping her build a future of dignity and opportunity.  Any donations to this worthwhile cause will be gratefully received and appreciated.
