Family suffering from poverty and illness appeals for assistance

Staff from Basra Branch visited the family of Mr Faisal A. K. 

His family consists of six members living in a dilapidated rented apartment lacking basic necessities, which he cannot afford due to his dire financial situation.

Mr Faisal was severely injured in a car accident, resulting in an 80% disability. Due to the amputation of his limbs, he is now completely immobile and requires full support for daily living.

He receives a meagre social welfare benefit of 170,000 IQD (approx. £100) per month.

Mr Faisal is appealing to benefactors for assistance for himself and his wife, who suffered a stroke that resulted in blindness. She is currently bedridden and unconscious and requires medical treatment outside Iraq.

Three of their children are still in full-time education and in need of school supplies.

This family is facing extreme hardship. Their living conditions are dire, and their daily struggles have left them with little hope.  Yet they continue to persevere, and now, they are reaching out to kind-hearted individuals for help.

Your generosity could be the lifeline they need to overcome this difficult chapter.

To assist this family, they need:

- A Medical Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) to purchase a freezer.

- A Donation of 75,000 IQD (approx. £45) to purchase fans.
