Najaf Branch:

Widow and her five orphans remain in need of assistance

In line with the policy of follow-up visits to poor families, staff from the Najaf Branch visited the widow, Zahraa R.A and her family.  It was clearly evident that this family remains in desperate need.  They continue to live with Zahraa’s mother.

The house they live in lacks necessities.

The family situation is dismal.  They have no breadwinner and no source of income.  They rely on the generosity and kindness of charitable people.

Zahraa’s husband passed away after suffering a stroke. Her orphans attend full-time education.

Her daughter, Ruqayya, was involved in a car accident, which led to partial liver damage.  She requires monthly treatments and medications, which is placing an extra financial burden on the widow.

To help this family, they need:

- Ongoing Medical Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per month.

- A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to purchase a stove.

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an electric heater.

The widow and her orphans appeal to kind-hearted people to extend a helping hand and offer them assistance.
