Launch of annual campaign to distribute Ramadan Food Baskets

Sadr City Branch is honoured to announce the launch of its Annual Campaign to distribute essential foodstuffs to underprivileged families registered with the branch.

The campaign is introduced with the following announcement:

With the approach of the blessed month of Ramadan — a time of obedience, mercy, and forgiveness — Al‑Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity, Sadr City Branch, invites you to participate in acts of goodness and generosity.

We welcome your charitable contributions to help provide food baskets for distribution to families in need, including underprivileged households, orphaned families, families of martyrs, the sick, and individuals with special needs, throughout this month of blessings.

We are kindly asking for donations of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) to provide a basket to a family in need.  The basket provided will contain a variety of food items.  You can also donate other food supplies.

We place our trust in the generosity of kind‑hearted individuals who find joy in doing good, and we look forward to their support in bringing happiness to the hearts of the poor. We ask Allah, Almighty, to guide us all toward every act of goodness and to bless these efforts with acceptance and reward.
