Poor lady appeals to good-hearted Benefactors for assistance

The Staff of Basra Branch visited a poor lady, Maryam J. M, and her family. Maryam lives with her five children and husband in a dilapidated house, which they rent. They rely on the generosity of Benefactors to pay their monthly rent.

Whilst going about his daily work to earn a living to provide for his family, the husband unfortunately suffered a spinal fracture.  Following this injury, he has been unable to work and earn his daily wages to sustain his family.  

All the children are in full-time education.

An inspection of the house revealed the extent of damage to its ceilings and walls. The house lacks the most basic elements required for a decent life.

Maryam and her family are living under very harsh conditions, and need all the support that can be offered to them.

Their immediate needs are:

- A Donation of 100.000 IQD (approx. £60) to buy medication.

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a stove.

- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy an air cooler.

The family of this poor lady appeals to People of kindness and generosity to help them by providing for some of their needs.
