Basra Branch: 

Family of orphans struggling under harsh living conditions.

Basra Branch Team conducted a field visit to the struggling family of Alaa A.M.

Following the loss of their mother to cancer, the Team discovered that Alaa lives alone with his six children.  Three of the children are still at school.

Despite being unemployed after years of working in construction on a daily‑wage basis, he now does his best to support his family, relying on the help of his eldest daughter to manage the household. Facing increasingly difficult living conditions, this devoted father turned to the foundation, hoping that by sharing his family’s situation with compassionate donors, they might receive the support needed to overcome their hardship.

He is willing to work as a barber to help his family improve their living conditions if he could obtain a generous loan to purchase supplies.

To support this family, they need:

- Monthly Sponsorship for two orphans of 50,000 IQD (approx. £30) per orphan.

-A Donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to purchase a cooker.

- A Donation of 150,000 IQD (approx. £90) to purchase a refrigerator.  

The Branch Team and Administration urge benevolent donors to assist this family in overcoming their hardship, and may God bless and reward the charitable.
