Destitute mother of six appeals to benefactors for support  

Basra Branch team visited Mrs Khitam H. F. and her family of six children, some of whom are still in full-time education.

Mrs Khitam’s husband was arrested and taken to prison, leaving the family without a provider or livelihood.  The poor woman and her children had to live with her father-in-law in a single, small room devoid of necessities. They have no source of income except the small donations received occasionally from kind benefactors.

The family endures extremely difficult and harsh living conditions.  They are in desperate need of support during these challenging times.

To support this family, they need:

- A Donation of 200,000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a stove.

- A Donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a refrigerator.   

- A Donation of 175,000 IQD (approx. £105) to buy a washing machine.

- A Donation of 125,000 IQD (approx. £75) to buy a television screen.

We hope that compassionate individuals will reflect on this family’s difficult circumstances and the hardship they are enduring, and extend a helping hand to support them.
