Bayaa Branch:

Poor Widow, willing to work, seeks your support

Staff from the Bayaa Branch conducted a field visit to a vulnerable, orphaned family to assess their living conditions. During the visit, the team met with the widow, Zainab F., and found that together with her children, she resides in a slum area in a home lacking the most basic of necessities.

Zainab is the mother of three children—two girls and one boy—all of whom attend full‑time education. Following the death of their father, full responsibility for the children's care and well-being fell upon Zainab.

The family has no stable source of income and does not receive any social welfare support despite previous attempts to contact the relevant department.

Zainab has expressed her willingness to undertake domestic work to improve her family’s financial situation and living conditions.

The family needs:

  
- Monthly Sponsorship of 25,000 IQD (approx. £15) per orphan, per month (x3)  
- A Donation of 100,000 IQD (approx. £60) to purchase school supplies.  
- A Donation of 250,000 IQD (approx. £150) to buy a washing machine.  

The Branch Team and the family appeal to charitable and benevolent people to extend a helping hand to this family.
