Widow and her children seek support from generous people

The Basra Team visited the widow, Duaa F. A., and her two orphans. They live in a rented house costing 250.000 IQD (approx. £150) per month.  The house lacks essential items which she cannot provide due to her poor financial situation.

Duaa has no source of income or salary and relies on small donations from benefactors.

Her husband died in a traffic accident, leaving the two orphaned children aged 1 and 4 years under her care.  Duaa is solely responsible for them.

This family has urgent needs.  Out of desperation, the widow appealed to Al Shakiry Charity for Social Solidarity for humanitarian assistance.  She needs help to pay rent and support her orphaned children.

To assist this family, they need:

- Monthly Orphan Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) per orphan per month (x2)

- A Donation towards helping the family pay their monthly rent of 250.000 (approx. £150).

- A Donation of 200.000 IQD (approx. £120) to buy a washing machine.

People of humanity and compassion are urged to look with compassion upon this family's situation and the hardships they face. Your support can make a vast difference to their humble lives.
