Widow and mother of three daughters needs help
The Branch staff visited Mrs Afrah. B. A., the mother of three daughters, one of whom has congenital malformation and brain damage. The family has been living with her husband's family in an inherited house since the death of her husband.
The mother has had a stroke and has nerve damage in her hand, requiring treatment.
The family suffers from deteriorating living conditions. They do not have any support.
The family lacks many basic supplies which they cannot afford. Two of the lady's daughters are still in full-time education, and they need financial support to cover their monthly expenses
While discussing her struggles, this widow expressed a willingness to work from home with her daughters’ help to make and sell pastries to improve her family’s living conditions. She needed support to buy basic baking ingredients for this purpose.
This family needs:
-Ongoing Monthly Sponsorship of 50.000 IQD (approx. £30) for each child (3)
- A Donation of 350.000 IQD (approx. £210) to buy a refrigerator.
- A Donation of 150.000 IQD (approx. £90) to buy a freezer.
