One of the Students Establishes a Charity Iftar Party for the Campaign of Eid Gifts for the Iraqi Or
30/11/2007

The volunteer student, Miss Fatima Al-Katib, established a charity Iftar party for the campaign of Eid gifts for the Iraqi orphans held at "Behesht" restaurant in London on 8/OCT/2007. The number of the present invited Iraqi students and others reached 26 girls. After excluding the expenses of the Iftar, the net amount of the contributions has reached $ 600.

Miss Fatima also appreciated the great co-operation of the owner of the restaurant as he discounted the prices of meals and charged less for meals that were prepared for the invited ones who did not come.

The Iraqi Charities Forum thanks Miss Fatima for her kind contribution and would like to thank all the students that have attended the Iftar party and we will put their names on the web site as an appreciation for them. Regarding the projects that she dreams to establish in the future, Khadijah said that she dreams in a serious way to establish an orphanage to take care of the orphans and she needs some accurate practical steps in this field when she soon goes to Iraq.
