The Iraqi Charities Forum Issues An Urgent Appeal To Buy Blankets For The Families Of The Affected A

As snow falls for the first time in nearly a century in Baghdad and in the southern regions, and as temperatures continue to fall in most areas of the country to minus 6 Celsius at a time when most areas are experiencing hardship in obtaining oil-based fuels, normally used for heating during the continuous power-cut, it is paramount to offer urgent aid to the affected families and to the families of the orphans, especially the displaced among them and those living in harsh conditions insufficient in protecting them from extreme cold and heat.
 
Hence the Iraqi Charities Forum has received several appeals from some of the Iraqi charities, encouraging do-gooders to immediately act and provide blankets and heaters for those in need among the poor and for the families of orphans in particular.   
 
In response to these letters of appeal, the Iraqi Charities Forum has issued an urgent appeal to encourage charitable people to generously donate in order to buy blankets for the families of the affected and for the orphans.
