Refugee Advice and Support Centre (RASC) RASC in Hammersmith has been funded by v, the youth volunteering charity, to get young people positively involved in their communities. RASC has the following vacancy:-VOLUNTEERR CO-ORDINATOR SALARY: £26,277 (ILW) PER ANNUM 35 HOURS PER WEEK + 3% PENSION CONTRIBUTION  The main purpose of the post is split into 2 main spheres:- ·        Development of a new volunteering programme for young Black Asian, and Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) communities between the ages of 16 to 25 living in West London. ·        Networking & representation of the RASC externally in relation to the development of volunteer and young people’s programmes  We are looking for energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic person who is able to develop this innovative project at RASC for young people by working in partnership with Refugee and Migrant organisations in West London to maximise the potential of the young people and empower them to contribute to the British Society.   For an application pack, please send a 50p A4 SAE to:-Managing Director RASCPalingswick House241 King StreetLondon W6 9LPOr Email: info@rascentre.org.uk Closing date for receipt of applications is Tuesday 13 May 2008 at 1.00pm.RASC is an Equal Opportunities Employer  The post is funded by VInspiring a million more young volunteers; until 31st December 2011.  Charity Registration No 1055379
