Just to update you on 2 upcoming sponsored walks as part of the Walk for Iraq movement.
On Saturday 17th of May 2008 we have a walk in:
- Auckland, New Zealand run by Saba Issa and her team. This will be in Auckland's City Centre from Victoria Park, along Tamaki Drive and Auckland's stunning water front all the way to Saint Heliers Bay
On Saturday 28th of June 2008 we have a walk in:
- Ottowa, Canada run by Zahra Al-Aubiydy. This will be in heart of downtown Ottawa, starting and ending at the Remic Rapids Park. The scenic route will go along the NCC recreational pathways alongside the beautiful river and the Parliament buildings
All the funds raised from these two walks will go towards UNICEF's efforts in Iraq, specifically supporting the welfare of Iraqi children. Please read more about UNICEF's work at the above links.
