Central Org. of Statistics and IT at Planning Ministry expressed its readiness to complete the census next year, the Org. head Dr. Mehdi Al Alaaq said.

This project requires high capabilities and a national force of many ministries and institutions, Al Alaaq said.

The main reason for delaying this census was due to the security situation, as this project requires large field work covering the designing of maps, providing geographic information and numeration operations, Al Alaaq said.
