Provide Iftaar Relief for £ 25.00 a month

As we all enjoy the blessings and bounties that the holy month of Ramadhan brings, please dear LFT donors spare a moment and remember in many parts of the world, millions of people go hungry, and are suffering extreme poverty and hardship. It costs just £25.00 to feed a family for a month; a luxury which we here take for granted. Our iftaar schems span across the globe, from Africa to Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Lebanon. Please give generously remembering those who are fasting with us.

            Sponsor an Orphan for £15.00 a month

Worldwide, one child in every five cannot afford to go to school, yet education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Women and children are the most vulnerable in society, but as the wars and internal strife continue, their suffering just intensifies. £15.00 a month, or just 50p a day is all it takes to sponsor an orphan for a month. £15.00 can provide the training and investment needed for a woman to start her own tailoring business, so the family can survive and earn their own living. 

£ 35.00 for a  Cataract Operation

All over the world, millions of people become needlessly blind due to cataracts. £35.00 will cover the cost of performing a cataract surgery in Africa thereby preventing blindness.

£ 1,000.00 for a  Milking Cow

Providing relief is not enough, and LFT's mission has always been to effect sustainable, long lasting change. £1,000.00 will buy a milking cow or buffalo, allowing families to generate an income, earning their living with dignity.

£ 900.00 can build a Bore-Well

Clean, safe water is the most essential requirement for life, yet millions of people are denied this basic human right. £ 900.00 could help dig a well, providing clean water to a whole community.

Comfort Aid and Islamic Humanitarian Service:

·      The Trust has recently entered into an agreement with Comfort Aid in the US, info@comfortaid.org similar to IHS in Ottawa, ihs@primus.ca which allows donors to donate to LFT through these organizations gaining tax benefits.
