SOS: Iraqi baby seeks for treatment

Baghdad, to those who are seeking for others' happiness; to those who are seeking for recovering the smile on the face of a sick baby. We call you to participate in saving the life of 11 moths baby who suffers from Hydro Cephalic which causes a block in the outflow of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and the treatment used was placement of a valve to drain the CSF and it failed due to the inflammation which followed the surgery.

The surgery he needs is not available in Iraq in present time due to the lack in the technical abilities in the hospitals inside Iraq.

The baby already had six surgeries, but the medical reports showed that the baby needs for a surgery abroad.

The father of the baby is a daily labor and has no ability to afford the coasts of such surgery abroad, especially that he spent all his money and loans on the surgeries and he had to take loans up to 4 millions ID (≈$3400) where the single valve coasts about $600.

To be mentioned that the baby now is provided with two valves because one valve is not enough to drain the fluid.
