Charity issues warning on counterfeit toys

A charity is warning parents who are trying to cut down on spending this year not to compromise their children's safety by purchasing counterfeit toys.

 

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is warning people these products may not comply with toy safety standards.

 

According to figures on home accidents from the Department of Trade and Industry, toys and games are involved in about 40,000 accidents each year
