RNID, the national charity representing deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK, has appointed Ellie Gray as Director of Development.

Gray joins RNID after 10 years at the Prince's Trust where she held the dual roles of Deputy Commercial Director and Managing Director of Prince's Trust Trading. Most recently, she was responsible for the delivery of the Prince’s Trust 30th Birthday Celebrations, Fashion Rocks and the Urban Music Festival.

Before that she worked as Arts Development Manager at Granada Television and was a member of the Management Committee of the Hacienda.

Dr John Low, RNID Chief Executive, said: "It is great news that Ellie Gray is joining RNID's senior management team as Director of Development. She has an impressive track record in developing commercial relationships and major fundraising events, and will bring a fresh approach to an already very successful fundraising team."
