UNAMI - IAD Meeting

 On Wedensday-10-June, the IAD met with the UNAMI - UN mission in Iraq. The meeting followed series of meetings hold with Mr. Stephan De Mestora, head of UNAMI, to guarantee Iraqi disable rights.

 

The meeting discussed the continuity of the efforts to get legislation for the disables’ rights, the role that UN should play according to the International agreements and Iraqi law.

 

The UNAMI and IAD will meet the Iraqi parliament’s human rights committee to discuss the disables’ rights and how to activate them.
