It was confirmed by the Heritage Foundation of Jerusalem that 48 Palestinians and the people and leaders of national and Islamic government in the city, foiled an attempt by a Jewish group to attack the Al-Aqsa Mosque, last Thursday.
The foundation stated that, a Jewish group planned to sneak into the Aqsa Mosque, but were prevented by a small number of Muslims present at the mosque in the early hours of the morning.
The foundation added that the Israeli police have arrested some of the "deployed", who have increased their numbers by noon in response to a call-Aqsa Foundation and the Islamic Supreme in Jerusalem. The Jewish groups have announced their intention to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque in the memory of what it calls the "structure of the devastation."

The attorney spokesman Zahi Nezhat, for the Islamic Movement, led by Sheikh Raed Salah, that the sitting of the 48 Palestinians, by the front door prevented the attack that was planned by the intrusion of the groups of Jewish.
He added in his interview with Aljazeera net that hundreds of Muslims gathered
at the entrance gate and prevented the entry of Jewish groups, he said, adding that with the sunset on Thursday and on the ending of the Fasting day “Ruin the memory structure," the alleged Jewish groups dispersed as well as the Muslims protectors.

Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian, said to a crowd that Al-Aqsa Mosque a special place and Exclusive right for Muslims, and they will do anything in their power to defend, protect it and preserve it.
The hundreds Palestinians arrived at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the early hours of Thursday morning, through the "March" in response to the appeal, by the “Heritage Foundation of the Aqsa”.
And also attended the Aqsa the leaders of the Islamic Movement and dignitaries including the President of the Jerusalem Waqf in Jerusalem, Sheikh Abdul Azim Salhab, the director of the Waqf in the same city, Sheikh Azzam Khatib, the head of the Supreme Islamic preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Sheikh Akrama Sabri.
Also attended the Jerusalem governor, Adnan al-Husseini, the former minister for Jerusalem affairs in the government in the West Bank, Hatem Abdel Kader.
