The Iranian city of Mashhad, announce its ready to assist in solving the problems of Iraqi cities

Gholam Ridha Khawaji, a member of the Islamic council of Iranian Mashhad city, stated that they are willing to help the Iraqi cities of Karbala and Najaf and Baghdad in relation with their municipality affairs.

Khawaji said in a statement to the news agency Mehr, reported on Monday that a joint meeting between the senior managers of the cities of Najaf and Karbala and Baghdad with members of the Council of the Islamic city of Mashhad that an agreement was reached on the cooperation of the municipality of Mashhad, with the executive agencies in Iraq in order to solve the problems with respect municipal affairs and the civil service.

Khawaji said that bilateral cooperation includes placing of the Iran's experiences at the disposal of the Government and people of Iraq to engage in the process of urban development of these areas.
