A member of the Parliament criticize law by the government to organize the work of hundreds of NGOs

Renewed some of the organization and institutes in Iraq their objections to the new law that put forward by the government to organize the work of hundreds of nongovernmental organizations.

The Alhya newspaper revealed that a wide range of these organizations are preparing for a major campaign against the law when it is discussed in Parliament, the fact that the law imposes a significant control on their work and their activities and their internal organization.

The Chairperson of the Commission of the institutions of civil society Alaa Talabani said the law put forward by the government is a matter of backlash against these organizations; stating that the committee receives dozens of messages on daily bases criticising and showing reservations against the new law.

Alaa Talabani, stated that the Commission of the institutions of civil society also considers the draft law, as unfair, and many great observations on the law will be discussed with the Parliament.
