Najaf Disability Centre and the Al-Sadr Hospital work together to provide better health care.
03/03/2011

In February 2011 The Najaf Disability Centre received an invitation from a Medical Committee specialising in Disabilities in the Al Sadr Hospital. The chief of this committee Dr Raid Umraan and the staff from the Najaf Disability Centre agreed to coordinate more of their work together. People with disabilities visiting the centre will now fill out specialised forms that will enable them to be referred to the correct department of the Al Sadr Hopsital according to their specific medical needs.

Not only will the collaboration and communication between the two institutions be increased but the they have been extended to ensure that the Al Sadr hospital begins to provides certain medical equipment through the Najaf Disability Centre to make it easier for those in need.

Patients suffering asthma have already obtained the necessary medical equipment from the Najaf Disability Centre instead of having to travel to the Hospital. The increased collaboration between the Hospital and the Centre ensure a better deal for patients and some relief for the busy and dedicated staff at Al Sadr!
