Baghdad - Citizens' Advice And Care Centre (Sadr City branch)

Since the beginning of the current year the Citizens' Advice And Care Centre (Sadr City branch) has got many volunteers (working without payment) from different levels who have donated tens of hours and expended much effort either by offering advice or by supervising studies in training courses set up by the centre, or by helping in exploratory visits to needy families.

For example, Miss Limia Hussein, Miss Sabrine Salim, Miss Huda Abbas, Miss Dhaha Abd Al-Qasam and Miss Sina have volunteered in the sphere of study and participated in the success of the study courses, As has Mrs Hidile Jibar Laibi, a professional seamstress, who has volunteered in the field of training women wishing to learn the art of sewing, having graduated at her hands many of these women. Additionally, Miss Huda Soloman has volunteered in the sphere of clothesmaking and tailoring.

Those volunteer doctors who participated in advising the citizens through several advisory courses which the centre arranged are (of the female doctors): Iqbal Nama, Ayman Jiub, Intasar Salim, Misa Adil Kadhim, Ayman Abd Al-Rhaman Hamid and Shima Ali Hamza plus two health researchers Nahiya Karim and Samira Abraham, in addition to the male doctors Khalid Gafil Kadhim and Dr Sadiq Al-Ali.

There are more volunteers like Sister Nadia and Sister Alia and Brother Hussein Kadhim Abud who perform many tasks for the Centre. There are many other names of volunteers we are pleased that we are able to note in a private register of honour at the Citizens' Advice And Care Centre (Sadr City branch).

It is worth noting that the Citizens' Advice And Care Centre (Sadr City branch) would not be able to perform a series of appeals together with advisory and instructory courses including tailoring, English language instruction and reading instruction of the noble Quran in addition to health advice and education if it were not for the presence of this large number of volunteers whose names have been mentioned above.

To increase the service offered and to develop the people of the district we request from the good people who possess the ability and the competence and all who have time to spare to donate some time for the benefit of serving our noble citizens.
