Baghdad - Citizens' Advice And Care Centre ( Sadr City branch).
After a well-wisher from the Al-Bannock district of Baghdad contacted the Centre and announced her wish to donate what she had in the way of various household necessities to the value of 400,000 Iraqi Dinars, the volunteers Mohammed Abd Al-Hassan and Lamiah Hussein collected these donations. Afterwards, these prerequisites were distributed among twenty needy families from the area.
The following is a list of the donations which arrived from the benefactress who wishes to remain anonymous:
1. Colour television and computer screen
2. Two bicycles
3. A collection of furnishings (pillows and bedspreads)
4. A collection of children's toys
5. A collection of shoes (men's and women's)
6. Child's wagon
7. Gas heater
8. Window (OVER A DOOR?)
9. Two lanterns
10. Child's bed
11. Upright fan
12. Tabletop cooker, oil stove and small electric heater
13. Four chairs
Despite that the prerequisites mentioned were second-hand they were in a good, clean condition
