13/03/2013

On 3/1/13 a Gentleman From London donated £4000 for the benefit of needy families. And after converting the sum to Iraqi Dinars we had 7,500,000 Dinars, which was distributed as follows:

1. 3,750,000 Iraqi Dinars began its distribution on 31/1/13 among 75 needy families of the Sadr City area of Baghdad. That is in fact 50,000 Dinars for each family by means of ration cards through which they are able get foodstuffs from shops with a prior agreement, so that there is a varied choice for the families in choosing the food they need.

2. 3,000,000 Iraqi Dinars among 30 families of those present in the following appeal:  a list of 31 families living in heartbreaking conditions in very pressing need of urgent aid to the value of 100,000 Dinars for each family.

3. 750,000 Iraqi Dinars distributed among seven needy families in An-Nasiriyah for whom we had previously published an appeal for aid on the following link:   Seven cases of needy families living in slum dwellings in urgent need of help.

It is worth mentioning that the anonymous donor had previously donated £1200 for the benefit of other cases, just as he has donated a monthly allowance for the benefit of Kamil Thajil who is afflicted with schizophrenia.

Connected with this, the Centre received financial donations from a group of well-wishers, which was distributed as follows:

1- 80,000 Dinars distributed among four families on 9/1/13.

2 - 180000 Dinars for the benefit of Mrs Taboul Yihia, received the sum on 11/1/13.
