Ansy Abdullah al-Faihan is an elderly woman who was attacked by a terrorist group who murdered her son and smashed her head, abandoning her far away from her home in Hay al-Adil. As a result of this vicious attack, Ansy, who has lost all that she owned, is at risk of becoming blind.

Unless Ansy undergoes the urgent surgery she so desperately needs - at a cost of IQD800,000.00 (£420.00) per eye - and because of the horrific nature of her injuries following the attack, she is simply not able afford the surgery to save her sight.
