Citizen Advice and Care Centre, Najaf Branch.
As part of the regular family visits made by the staff of Najaf centre, who carry out inspection visits to check on orphans, disabled and widows;
The centre’s staff visited the family of the widow Wijdan Yousif Mohammed, to check on her wellbeing and her families living conditions.
The staff found that this widow lives in a IQD300, 000/month rented house, shared with another family.
Mrs Mohammed is charge of six orphans some attending schools, while others can’t, due to Wijdan’s inability to afford schooling expenses for all her orphans.
Furthermore, Wijdan’s older son suffers from Quadriplegia and thus his medical and care needs, further adds to Wijdans burden in supporting her family.
Wijdan and her disabled son, who struggled to speak, calls upon her dear sisters and brothers in humanity to provide a helping hand, to enable her to afford her Orphan and destitute families basic living needs mainly provision of an electric generator and an air cooler.
